Kia India few days back had told us about their plans in India. After which it was stated that they wil be launching updated Sonet and Seltos this month and its here.
Asking of difference yes there are not minor but also not so big changes. Starting from the logo the car was set and updated version got the new Kia Logo.
we all knew that Kia had removed the HTX Trim from their lineup stated the public response towards the Version, Kia has added the HTX Trim with turbo diesel automatic also with turbo-petrol automatic while the earlier version was paired wtih diesel automatic and turbo-petrol automatic trim.
HTX Trim also been rearranged with the feature list on offer, with remote engine on/off and keyless entry on the turbo-petrol and diesel variants.. Moving more towards HTX Trim it also features stability management, brake assist, 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels,ESC, Hill start assist, as standard features.
HTX+ trim does get all the feature mention above the only extra spoon feature is the AI voice assistance given to sonet while gets vocal when heard"hello Kia". which is also offered on GTX+ Version.
Taking on iMT the sonet gets sunroof, and keyless entry is now offered with the 1.2-litre petrol. Towards the automatic variant the Sonet gives on offer multiple driving modes like Normal, Eco and Sport (earlier only considered on GTX+ Version) along with multiple driving modes, paddle shifters along with traction control with different modes like Sand, Mud and Wet
Sonet HTX+ trim also offers everything which was already offered on its trim along with this features on additional .
Sonet gets both diesel as well as petrol option under the hood. Speaking of the Diesel engine it states 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged engine which lines 100hp and 240Nm which is transit with 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. Here's something better the Automatic gives you more power and torque i.e addition of 15hp and 10Nm of Torque which adds up 115Hp and 250Nm of Torque.
Petrol is the option and the sonet is fitted in petrol with 1.2-litre, naturally aspirated engine which rubs 83hp and 115Nm , but stating that 1.2 liter petrol only comes on offer with 5 speed manual gearbox.
More option for petrol sonet also gets 1.0-litre, turbo-petrol engine grinding 120hp and 175Nm , making 2 transmission on offer 6-speed iMT gearbox or a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox.

1.2liter petrol engine with maual transmission comes on offer with 3 variants HTE HTK and HTK+ the price of sonet starts at 6.79lakhs , 7.79lakhs, 8.65lakhs respectively
!.0 liter petrol engine with iMT comes with 4 variants on offer HTK+ HTX HTX+ GTX+ which rings the price from 9.79lakhs, 10.29lakhs, 11.75lakhs, 12.19lakhs respectively.
1 liter petrol DCT Comes on offer with 2 variant HTX and GTX+ which states the price of HTX to 10.99lakhs and GTX+ has an price of 12.99lakhs.
Moving towards diesel section'
1.5 liter diesel automatic comes with all variant on offer i.e HTE, HTK, HTK+, HTX , HTX+ and GTX+ .which brings the price of sonet from 8.35lakhs, 9.29lakhs, 9.89lakhs, 10.49lakhs, 11.99lakhs, 12.45lakhs respectively.
1.5 liter diesel Automatic comes with only two variants HTX and GTX+ which starts from 11.29lakhs and 13.25lakhs respectively.
Seeing towards the price 1.2l petrol MT costs the lowest i.e 6.79lakhs and the most expensive sonet costs 13.25lakhs
