Toyota Belta Registered

Toyota has sucessfully registered name for their new rebadged Sedan Ciaz. This comes with the agreement between Toyota and Maruti for rebadging their cars. This may be an replacement of Yaris as Yaris is unable to achive great sales in India. Toyota is also in planning to rebadge the Ertiga. If this come definitely there will be no competition to Innova as both will be coming from same brand.

Toyota earlier had rebadged the Vitara breeza of maruti and the car did well as such but mostly people prefered to buy the original rather than the rebadged. But yes if choosing toyota there is an reliability factor coming into picture so people choose Toyota. Even toyota rebadged the Baleno and gave it an name Glanza. Everyone can see the sales from the car present on road.

There is no as such details on what will be offered from toyota in Belta(Ciaz) but we can expect the same engine been given in Ciaz with some cosmetaic changes in the Belta.

Toyota is also planning to bring the toyota Rav4 in India and has also registered their name here.

Toyota should definitely bring more of their cars in India rather than just rebadging Maruti's car.
