Volkswagen Polo 7 Gen Revealed


Volkswagen has revealed the 7-Generation polo for the International Market. The car gets new design towards the front while the rear has been revised.

The Front Grill with the LED DRL’s running towards both end makes an sharper and sportier look. Polo will have LED lights standard on all variants while you get an option to have an LED Matrix lights too.

There will be sport variant i.e R variant on offer(shown in pictures) which will be sportier one.The rear design of the car has not much of an change. It gets revised LED Tail lamps which have an 3D effect. Polo will get 15inches standard alloy wheels while the R variant will offer 16 inches alloy wheel. Exterior design of the car is very much different from the Polo which is available in the Indian Market.

Jumping into the interior of the car polo you will definitely notice changes. You now get 8 inches driver instrument cluster.You get 62inches infotainment system which you 9.2inches is made available as option. The slide control Temperature changing meters definitely are adding premiumness to the car. Also steering wheel with an sort of flat bottom will definitely get your sportiness feeling on. The top spec trim will have 10.25 Inches infotainment system. The infotainment system is more drivercenteric. Overall the Cabin feels very sporty and has elements of luxury.

Moving towards tech part the car is offered on 3 engine option . The standard variant will get 1.0 naturally aspirated motor which will make 79bhp. Then comes the mid variant which gets 1.0 litre TSI engine producing 94Hp while the top specs TSI Engine makes 108hp. Transmission which will be on offer will be a 6 speed manual or DCT automatic


Currently in India the Polo which is on offer is outdated and definitely needs an upgrade. There is an hope that VW group will bring the Polo to Shores of India.


The Interior is more of driver focused
